Adding a sense of fun to event publicity.

When you’re organising an event, there are a million and one things to do. But when it comes to marketing design, it’s worth bearing in mind the character of the occasion.

A RAG week raises money for charity, which is noble and worthwhile. But it would be a mistake to design preachy posters.

So for this brief, we suggested a bright and colourful character to ensure a sense of fun. Oxford Brookes Students’ Union liked our ideas, and the Blue Bullie mascot was born!
